Victor Cruz has taken an interesting path to NFL stardom. After breaking out in his rookie presason, leading the Giants in receiving through the 2010 exhibition schedule, Cruz found himself on injured reserve. Many thought that would likely be the end of Cruz's career in New York, but injuries the following season opened the door for Cruz and he took advantage.
Cruz has pulled in 168 catches for 2,628 yards and 19 touchdowns in two short seasons and is now the number-one option for Eli Manning. Cruz was named a second-team All Pro in 2011 and caught a touchdown pass in the Giants Super Bowl XLVI win.
