Fenix vs. Wanderers
Alfredo Arias, Confirms the same team to face Fenix after drawing with Juventud. There is a slight change in the bench. Sergio Blanc, has finally come to an agreement with Wanderers and will be on the bench this weekend. Fenix are the only team in the Apertura table without a single point.

Liverpool vs. El Tanque Sisley
Nothing has changed. Last weekend, Liverpool lost once again. El Tanque, a tough opponent sitting second in the table is trying to maintain their position in the table. Liverpool are looking to put a stop to a bad “spell”. An interesting fact, that does not play in Liverpool's favor is the current manager of El Tanque, Raul Moller was the manager of Liverpool last season.

Penarol vs. Danubio
Danubio are determined to once again defeat one of Uruguay’s biggest club. Danubio are going into the match with confidence after defeating Nacional. Penarol obtain the first win of the season last weekend and Alonso has shared his optimism that Penarol will continue on the right track.

Cerro vs. Racing
Despite the loss against Penarol, Racing played a great match and are going into this match as favourites. Cerro last fixture was against Rentistas and fell 2-0.

Miramar vs. Defensor Sporting
Miramar has prepared to face Defensor with a friendly against Rampla Juniors. Also Miramar will not be able to utilize Jordan Mosquera, a Defensor player that is on loan in Miramar. An agreement between the two clubs does not make him eligible to play this weekend.
Defensor and contracts…
Three youth players, Giorgian De Arrascaeta, Federico Gino y Leonardo Pais have extended their contracts with Defensor for three years. These three "Violetas" represented Uruguay in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey.
Adrian Luna, a player which debuted in Defensor in 2010 and a year later departed to Europe has returned. On May 23, 2011 Espanyol signed the young attacking midfielder for just a fee of €1 million. In three months Adrian luna was loaned to Gimnastic de Tarragona of the segunda divison in Spain. In 2012 he returned to Espanyol and once again was loaned out. On August 2012, he left Europe and returned to Uruguay. Espaynol loaned him to Nacional. Upon his arrival at Nacional, expectations were set high but he did not get a lot of playing time. Now at the young age of 21 he is returning to his roots(Defensor) to have another opportunity to prove himself.

Cerro Largo vs. Sud America
The stadium has been the talk of this match. After a long week of rainfall, there was a concern that Estadio Ubilla de Mello will not be in good condition for the match.The sports manager stated a few days ago that “The stadium will be ready for Sunday. The heavy rain has stopped and the strong wind helps to dry it. We will not be able to train in the Ubilla and even postpone the Third Division match but it will not be a problem to play against Sud America.".

Nacional vs. River Plate
River Plate has been unstoppable. There is a three-point difference in the Apertura table between River Plate and Nacional. River aspires to continue to be undefeated and Nacional wishes to win on Sunday. River’s main striker, Taborda unfortunately will not recuperate by Sunday so youth player Diego Casas will replace him.
