Uruguay Primera Division:Everything on the upcoming fixtures.

The third round of the Uruguay's apertura will begin Saturday with three encounters at 14:30 (EST)

Penarol and Rentistas, both with the same objective of obtaining their first win of the season. Penarol, have some changes in the line-up in hope to regain their form which made them champions. As for Rentistas it is predicted the same 11 used against Nacional will start for this match. Rentistas plays a very defensive football and are dangerous on counter attacks. Penarol defense will have to be prepare.

“La Viola” will be looking to get their first win of the season against Juventud. Despite losing to Liverpool, Defensor demonstrated in the their last fixture against Penarol to have a strong team to be contender for the apertura. 

Defensor's Sub-20 player debuts..

Last week Federico Gino had his debut for Defensor when Robert Herrera got injured. Gino participated this summer in U-20 World Cup. He had a good campaign with the national team and will be in the starting 11 for Defensor this Saturday. 

The last fixture for Saturday is Liverpool and Danubio which will be played at the Estadio Belvedere. The last time Danubio played Liverpool, “Danu” won 1-0 as the visitor. Danubio have a "health advantage" as five of the Liverpool players have come do with the flu, incuding the trainer, Fabián Díaz.

On Sunday, the fixtures begins with a Clasico, this nobel Clasico has Fenix and Racing as the contenders. The last encounter in the Estadio Parque Capurro the visitor won, 1-0. Racing will be seeking to repeat  last week performance with 5-0 win against Miramar Misiones. This game will be played at 9:15(EST).

Then in the afternoon, there are four fixtures that will be played at 14:30 (EST).

Nacional will play the newly promoted side Sud America. Both, Nacional and Sud America have started the season with a perfect start with two victories each. Sud America has been the surprise of the apertura after being in the Uruguayan 2nd Division for 17 years. They will repeat the staring 11 in hope to continue their winning streak.

“El Vasco” has not confirmed the starting 11 for Nacional. However, it is predicted Alvaro Fernandez will be a starter for the first time and Ivan Alonso will return to starting 11 after  recuperating from an injury.

Miramar Missiones will be facing El Tanque Sisley. Miramar Missiones will have two changes in the line-up with Adrian Berbia going in the net and Matias Lazio in midfield. The change of goalkeeper comes with no surprise after “Los Monos” had embarrasing 5-0 lost to Sud America. The “Dark Green” is coming into this match with a winning streak and they want to contiue to have a perfect season.

Also, Cerro Largo will play Wanderers and Cerro will play River Plate.

Cerro Largo will have to make an obligated change for Bruno Silva after a muscular injury. The options are Juan José Blanco or Además Martínez. 

Wanderers made a tactical change after their fixture against Cerro and It resulted in their first victory of the season. Alfredo Arias changed the team’s formation to 3-4-1-2 and he will use the same formation against Cerro Largo to get Wanderers another victory.

As for Cerro they will wait until the last evaluation to decide if Romario Acuna will be able play. On Friday he was not able to train due to a “muscular overload”. Just like their opponent River Plate will also wait until the last evalution to know which will be the starting 11.
