Toefaeono actually lost this position to Jones due to an injury sustained in a one-touchdown loss at UCLA. He doesn’t need to deal with his successor now that Jones has taken the mantle at center, but that doesn’t mean his battles are over. The senior must stave off a rising Asiata.
Nonetheless, Toefaeono reportedly has all-conference potential. He played in started in the first six games of the season before getting knocked out at the Rose Bowl. In 2011, he played in all 13 games on special teams and appeared on the line in wins over BYU and UCLA and that embarrassing home loss to Colorado.
