Bovada released its 2014 Heisman Trophy odds Friday, and Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston begins his defense as a 2/1 favorite.

The list of 15 players includes six running backs and nine quarterbacks, with Oregon's Marcus Mariota (7/2) and Ohio State's Braxton Miller (4/1) also among the favorites.

Alabama running back T.J. Yeldon gets a somewhat surprising 5/1, given the presence of Kenyan Drake and Derrick Henry in the Tide backfield and Yeldon's propensity to fumble, but he's listed ahead of backs like Georgia's Todd Gurley (12/1) and Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon (16/1).

Some interesting names on the list include quarterback Everett Golson (25/1), who led Notre Dame to a BCS championship appearance in the 2012 season, but missed last year due to academic cheating, and the biggest longshots, Bowling Green quarterback Matt Johnson (66/1) and Marshall quarterback Rakeem Cato (66/1).
