Florida DL Patchan shot

GAINESVILLE, Florida (Ticker) -- Florida freshman defensive
lineman Matt Patchan is recovering from a gunshot wound,
the school announced Monday.
Gators coach Urban Meyer issued a statement, saying that
Patchan's injuries were not life threatening, but he provided
few other details.
"Matt Patchan was a gunshot victim Friday night at a Tampa area
park," Meyer said. "He was bystander and shot in the left
shoulder and is expected to fully recover in three weeks."
The 6-7, 265-pound Patchan enrolled at Florida in January after
graduating from high school.
