Lousiana Tech coach to have heart surgery

RUSTON, Louisiana (Ticker) -- Louisiana Tech offensive line
coach Pete Perot will undergo double-bypass, open-heart surgery,
the team announced on Saturday.
Perot experienced chest pains on Wednesday and had an
arteriogram performed a day later. He will undergo surgery on
August 14.
"Our primary concern is Pete's health," Louisiana Tech coach
Derek Dooley said. "I'm confident he is in great hands."
Art Kehoe will fill in for Perot, who is entering his 20th
season at Louisiana Tech.
