Report: McFadden handcuffed, not arrested

editor1  |Jan 10,2008

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (Ticker) -- Arkansas star Darren McFadden
was handcuffed by police Thursday morning but not arrested,
according to a report.

Little Rock television station Fox 16 reported that the
Razorbacks running back got into an argument with a bouncer at a
downtown bar.

According to the report, one of McFadden's relatives was being
escorted from the bar when trouble started.

Officers from the Little Rock Police Department put McFadden in
handcuffs for "agitated and provoking aggressive behavior" but
released him once he calmed down, the report said.

McFadden rushed for 1830 yards during his junior season in 2007,
and is widely expected to declare for the NFL draft. He is
projected as a top five pick in April's draft.
