Tennessee suspends two for UCLA game

editor1  |Aug 25,2008

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) - The 18th-ranked Tennessee
football team will open its season with a shorthanded defense.

Volunteers coach Phillip Fulmer announced Monday that defensive
back Brent Vinson and defensive tackle Donald Langley were
suspended for Monday's game at UCLA.

Fulmer made the announcement after practice and said that the
suspensions were a result of academic issues.

A sophomore, Vinson played in 14 games last season, making 10
starts at cornerback. Langley redshirted last season.
