Coaching & NFL Early Entry Podcast

Football.com analysts Steven Lassan and Braden Gall recently sat down to talk about how the early entries into the NFL Draft and the coaching changes will impact teams in 2008. With the NFL’s early entry deadline passed, teams are beginning to repair the holes left by those players choosing to play on Sundays and filling these holes before next season could mean the difference in a championship or a eight win season. Although the NFL Draft deadline only watched one quarterback head to the next level, the running back and receiver class saw heavy departures. Arkansas will miss the one-two punch of Darren McFadden and Felix Jones in 2008, but head coach Bobby Petrino has a solid recruiting class coming in. Additionally, California will have to rebuild their receiving corps, especially with the loss of DeSean Jackson. In addition to these topics, Braden and Steven cover the coaching moves, including June Jones to SMU and Bobby Petrino at Arkansas.
