Recruiting/Transfer Impact Podcast

The 2008 college season is still months away, but the College Redzone podcast is here to help break down the signing day impact and the potential transfers to watch for next season. Colorado head coach Dan Hawkins is building a solid foundation for 2008 and beyond, especially with the signing of running back Darrell Scott. Scott turned down Texas for the Buffaloes and has a great chance at starting next season – teaming with young quarterback Cody Hawkins for a promising backfield. In addition to Scott, quarterback Terrelle Pryor will make a significant impact…when he signs. While Pryor is considering Michigan, the Wolverine faithful is hoping head coach Rich Rodriguez has a quarterback somewhere on the roster. Although it’s tough to classify Steven Threet has a transfer, the former Georgia Tech signee will be frontrunner to win the job in spring practice. Additionally, what impact will Jevan Snead and Mitch Mustain have in 2008? These questions, along with the potential impact of incoming freshmen at quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end are covered in this edition of the College Redzone podcast.
