Review the Buffalo Bills 2007 draft picks and how they’re doing throughout the season. Marshawn Lynch was the team's first round selection. Lynch has performed as advertised. He has quickly developed into the offense's primary weapon. LB Paul Posluszny, the team's second round pick, was off to a promising start before a forearm injury forced the Bills to place the rookie standout on IR. When quarterback J.P Losman went down with a knee injury, third round pick Trent Edwards was inserted into the starting lineup. Running back Dwayne Wright was the teams fourth round pick and he's seen some action on field. Strong Safety John Wendling was selected in the sixth round. He was the only player drafted from the University of Wyoming in 2007. The Bills had two seventh round selections -- tight end Derek Schouman and defensive end C.J. Ah You. Schouman was intially released, but he signed to the practice squad. Ah You is no longer on the team's roster. |
