The Steelers have a long history of finding amazing players in the draft every single season. The 2007 Draft is no different. First round pick Lawrence Timmons was slowed by a groin injury, and hasn't really had the chance to make an immediate impact. Second round Pick LaMarr Woodely had a great training camp. He has looked solid whenever he takes the field. Third round pick Matt Spaeth has already made an impact. The tight end is developing into a dangerous redzone threat. Fourth round pick Daniel Sepulveda seems to punt the ball inside the 20 every time he's called into action. Fourth round picks Ryan McBean gives the Steelers a quality prospect on the defensive line. Fifth round pick Cameron Stephenson didn't make the team. Sixth round pick WIlliam Gay has seen some action on special teams and in the secondary. Seventh round pick Dallas Baker almost didn't make it through training camp, but the team stuck with the kid. Review all the Pittsburgh Steelers draft picks and find out how they’re progressing throughout the season. |
