1974 NFL Playoffs

The Oakland Raiders beat the defending Super Bowl champion Miami Dolphins 28-26 in the AFC divisional round. In the other divisional contest, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-14.

The Minnesota Vikings upended the St. Louis Cardinals 30-14 in the NFC divisional round. The Los Angeles Rams beat the Washington Redskins 19-10 to advance to the NFC title game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers scored 21 fourth quarter points to beat the Oakland Raiders 24-13 for the AFC title. The Minnesota Vikings held on to beat the Los Angeles Rams 14-10 in the NFC Championship Game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 16-6 in Super Bowl IX.
