1987 NFL Playoffs

The Minnesota Vikings beat the New Orleans Saints 44-10 in the NFC wild card game. The Houston Oilers defeated the Seattle Seahawks 23-20 in overtime in the AFC wild card game.

In the AFC divisional round, the Cleveland Browns beat the Indianapolis Colts 38-21 and the Denver Broncos hammered the Houston Oilers 34-10.

In the NFC divisional round, the Minnesota Vikings beat the San Francisco 49ers 36-24 and the Washington Redskins beat the Chicago Bears 21-17.

The Washington Redskins defeated the Minnesota Vikings 17-10 in the NFC Championship Game. The Denver Broncos held on to beat the Cleveland Browns 38-33 in the AFC Championship Game.

The Washington Redskins crushed the Denver Broncos 42-10 in Super Bowl XXII.
