1991 NFL Playoffs

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Raiders 10-6 and the Houston Oilers beat the New York Jets 17-10 in the AFC wild card games. The Atlanta Falcons beat the New Orleans Saints 27-20 and the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Chicago Bears 17-13 in the NFC wild card games.

In the AFC divisional round, the Denver Broncos beat the Houston Oilers 26-24 and the Buffalo Bills defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 37-14.

In the NFC divisional round, the Washington Redskins beat the Atlanta Falcons 24-7 and the Detroit Lions trounced the Dallas Cowboys 38-6.

The Buffalo Bills defeated the Denver Broncos 10-7 in the AFC Championship Game. The Washington Redskins beat the Detroit Lions 41-10.

The Washington Redskins beat the Buffalo Bills 37-24 in Super Bowl XXVI.
