The Miami Dolphins beat the Buffalo Bills 24-17 and the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the New England Patriots 25-10 in the AFC wild card games. The Arizona Cardinals defeated the Dallas Cowboys 20-7 and the Green Bay Packers defeated the San Francisco 49ers 30-27 in the NFC wild card games.

In the AFC divisional round, the Denver Broncos crushed the Miami Dolphins 38-3 and the New York Jets defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-24.

In the NFC divisional round, the Atlanta Falcons beat the San Francisco 49ers 20-18 and the Minnesota Vikings beat the Arizona Cardinals 41-21.

The Denver Broncos defeated the New York Jets 23-10 in the AFC Championship Game. The Atlanta Falcons beat the Minnesota Vikings 30-27 in the NFC Championship Game.

The Denver Broncos defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34-19 in Super Bowl XXXIII.
