1975 Pro Bowl

Rams quarterback James Harris became the first Black quarterback to walk away with Pro Bowl game MVP honors, engineering the NFC's 17-10 comeback win over the AFC in the 1975 game.

Harris connected with Mel Gray and Charley Taylor for a pair of fourth quarter scores to help the NFC erase a 10-3 deficit. The late fireworks were just enough to offset the AFC's potent defense, which was led by Pittsburgh's L.C. Greenwood who recorded a pair of second half sack.

Green Bay's Ken Ellis late interception deep in NFC territory helped preserve the for his team.
