1976 Pro Bowl

Philadelphia's Mike Boryla came on to throw two fourth quarter touchdowns in sparking the NFC to a dramatic 23-20 victory over the AFC in the 1976 Pro Bowl at the Superdome in New Orleans.

Boryla's heroics were enough to offset those of Houston's Billy “Whiteshoes” Johnson, who ran back a punt 90-yards for a score and set up a field goal with another long return. In the end, Johnson walked away with game MVP honors for the AFC.

Boryla's 8-yard strike to St. Louis' Mel Gray with just over a minute remaining proved the game winner.
