1979 Pro Bowl

Dallas Cowboys teammates Roger Staubach and Tony Hill connected on a 19-yard scoring pass midway through the third quarter, giving the NFC all the points it would need in a 13-7 win over the AFC in the 1979 Pro Bowl.

The game marked the final contest held in the Los Angeles Coliseum and was played before a crowd of nearly 40,000. Minnesota's Ahmad Rashad was tabbed game MVP, hauling in five catches, as the NFC won for the fourth time in five games.

Houston rookie Earl Campbell led all rushers, churning out 66 yards on 12 carries for the AFC.
