1980 Pro Bowl

The 1980 Pro Bowl marked the first time the game was played in a non NFL city and the NFC made good use of the added exposure, downing the AFC 37-27

San Diego's Chuck Muncie garnered game MVP honors, scoring on a 1-yard run and throwing a 25-yard option pass for a score to Dallas' Tony Hill just before halftime.

The 37-27 final score set a record for most points scored. Houston's Eric Campbell scored twice for the AFC, diving in for a pair of two-yard score.
