1996 Pro Bowl

Cincinnati's Jeff Blake and Pittsburgh's Yancy Thigpen teamed on a 93-yard scoring pass just two minutes into the 1996 Pro Bowl to set the stage for the NFC's 20-13 victory.

The pass play was the second largest in Pro Bowl history and gave the NFC won of the few victories it has notched in recent years. San Francisco's Jerry Rice seemed intent on making his teammates heroics hold up in terms of securing victory.

Playing in his tenth Pro Bowl, Rice grabbed six catches for 82 yards and a score, in securing MVP honors. Atlanta's Morten Anderson booted a pair of field goals for the NFC to give him 45 individual points, the most in Pro Bowl history.
