1999 Pro Bowl

The 1999 Pro Bowl featured the game's debut of Super Bowl MVP quarterback John Elway. And the Denver Broncos' star signal-caller was quick to make his presence felt.

Elway connected on four of his first five passes, as the AFC's opening, 61-yard drive culminated in a three-yard TD pass to New England's Sam Gash. In the end, the Patriots'

Ty Law 's interception and 67-yard run back of an errant Randall Cunningham (Philadelphia ) pass put the game out of reach for the AFC in their 23-10 victory.

Law (five tackles, three pass breakups) shared game MVP honors with New York Jets wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, who finished with seven catches for 87 yards.
