Seattle Seahawks DRAFTS

The Seattle Seahawks didn’t have a first round selection in the 2007 NFL Draft. The team traded their first round pick to New England last year for wide receiver Deion Branch. Seattle’s first selection was the 55th overall pick in the draft. The team selected CB Josh Wilson from Maryland. The Seattle Seahawks bolstered the D-line with their next two picks – DT Brandon Mebane from Cal and DE Baraka Atkins from Miami. O-lineman Mansfield Wrotto from Georgia Tech was Seattle’s second pick in the fourth round. Hybrid S/LB Will Herring from Aubrun was chosen in the fifth round. With two sixth round picks, the Seahawks grabbed a pair of wide receivers – Courtney Taylor from Auburn and Jordan Kent from Oregon. O-lineman Steve Vallos from Wake Forest was the Seattle’s seventh round selection. Go to Football.com to follow the progress of each of these picks as the 2007 season unfolds.
