Coming into the game more than 10 point underdogs, the Chiefs dominated the favorite Minnesota Vikings in all aspects of the game, offering the AFL their second consecutive Super Bowl Championship. The victory was only that much sweeter to Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt, who was also the founded the AFL and the “namer” of the Super Bowl.
