Super Bowl got off to an electric start. Playing only a few miles from their home stadium, the Los Angeles Rams would prove their worth to be on the field with Pittsburgh Steelers and their “Steel Curtain” defense, as the Rams were able to push out to a 13-10 halftime lead. The Rams held their lead after three quarters, but the current champs would up the ante in the fourth. The Steel Curtain took over on defense, and Terry Bradshaw offered a perfect ending to yet another epic Super Bowl performance in which he threw for 309 yards and 2 TDs. The Steelers would shut out the Rams in the 4th quarter while adding 14 points of their own, and securing their fourth Super Bowl title in 6 seasons.
