Super Bowl XXX Dallas Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Date: January 28, 1996 Host City: Tempe, AZ Stadium: Sun Devil Stadium National Anthem: Vanessa Williams Halftime Entertainment: Diana Ross MVP: Larry Brown – Cornerback, Dallas Cowboys Final Score: Dallas-27 Steelers-17 After a year's absence, the Dallas Cowboys returned to Super Bowl XXX with a vengeance, and a new Super Bowl opponent. The Cowboys would waste no time getting the party started, jumping to an early 10-0 lead in the first quarter. The Cowboys would never look back, moving the ball strategically on offense, and gathering two interceptions from Steelers QB Neil O'Donnell. Emmitt Smith would rush for two touchdowns in the game, and Troy Aikman would throw for one, with kicker Chris Boniol adding 6 points via field goals.
