Broncos sign LB Williams to fiveyear extension

DENVER (Ticker) -- The Denver Broncos signed linebacker D.J.
Williams to a five-year contract extension through the 2013
season on Sunday.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Since Williams was drafted with the 17th pick in 2004, he has
led the Broncos in tackles in two of his four seasons in the
league.

The 6-2, 245-pound linebacker led the AFC with 170 tackles in
2007.

Williams has played in all 64 games - 62 starts - with 438
career tackles, four sacks and two interceptions.
