Eagles WR Brown leaves game

editor1  |Aug 14,2008

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver
Reggie Brown left in the first quarter of Thursday's preseason
game against the Carolina Panthers with an apparent hamstring
injury.

Brown had been suffering from a lingering strained Achilles
tendon, but felt healthy enough to play. However, he was taken
into the locker room after the team's first drive.

The 27-year-old recorded 61 catches and 780 yards while scoring
four touchdowns in 2007 for the Eagles.
