ATLANTA (Ticker) -- The Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday named

Caldwell spent the last 10 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts,
holding various positions in their scouting department. He was
a scouting assistant for two seasons with Carolina from 1996-97.

"I'm very pleased to add David Caldwell to our organization,"
general manager Thomas Dimitroff said. "He comes to us from a
highly respected and very successful team. He is well respected
around the NFL and will be a great asset to the scouting
department."
