Jets resign DB Poteat

NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The New York Jets re-signed defensive back
Hank Poteat on Tuesday.

Poteat played in all 16 games - nine starts - for the Jets last
season, recording the first two interceptions of his career and
making a career-high 37 tackles.

The 30-year-old has played for four teams over his eight-year
career. Poteat was also a member of Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay and
New England before joining the Jets in 2006.

He has 133 tackles and one sack in 81 career contests.
