Jets sign WR Brackins

HEMPSTEAD, New York (Ticker) -- The New York Jets signed
free-agent wide receiver Larry Brackins on Tuesday to add depth
to their thin receiving corps.
Brackins, a former fifth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
out of Pearl River Community College, spent the last two seasons
with the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League.
During his two seasons in the AFL, he caught 163 passes for
2,181 yards and 49 touchdowns.
