Texans sign G Weary to oneyear deal

HOUSTON (Ticker) - The Houston Texans and guard Fred Weary have
agreed on a one-year contract, according to Tuesday's Houston
Chronicle.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the
newspaper said Weary's base salary will be $800,000 with a
$300,000 bonus when he reports to training camp.
One of five original Texans still on the roster, Weary suffered
a broken leg on December 2 in a game against the Tennessee
Titans, ending his season.
A third-round pick of Houston in 2002, Weary is expected to be
fully recovered from the injury by the start of training camp.
