Texans sign Ryan, Williams

HOUSTON (Ticker) -- The Houston Texans on Monday signed a pair
of free agents in tight end Ryan Krause and cornerback Jimmy
Williams.
A four-year veteran, Krause, 26, played in nine games as a
backup for the Green Bay Packers last season, catching two
passes for 11 yards.
Williams, 29, is a six-year veteran who last played in the NFL
in 2006 with the Seattle Seahawks.
In another move, the Texans released Cole Bennett, a rookie
tight end out of Auburn.
