The compensatory picks for the 2008 Draft have been announced. The big winners were the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals who each got four comp picks. The Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles all have the most total picks in this draft with 11 a piece while the Cleveland Browns have only 4. Four teams received a third round pick as Washington, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Baltimore will be using a compensatory pick on the first day. Compensatory picks are awarded as compensation for players leaving teams via free agency and unlike regular draft picks these selections cannot be traded. There are a total of 252 picks in this draft and Mr. Irrelevant, the last pick in the draft, will come from the St. Louis Rams.

*Malcolm Kelly*

Malcolm Kelly is the odds on favorite to be the top wide receiver selected in this draft despite some injury woes that have some teams questioning his ability. Kelly’s agent contacted all 32 NFL teams giving them access to medical reports that show the thigh bruise that has kept him from working out and missing some action near the end of the movie is sound. Kelly will be holding a private workout on April 9^th and it will go a long way in ensuring he doesn’t fall down the boards.
