As much as I hate doing this, I don't think I have a choice. For all the joy this man brought me and the millions of Redskins fans the last few years, Santana Moss is the reason the Redskins lost to the Packers on Sunday. The only reason to not give it to him is because I'm a biased Redskins fan and I know he'll bounce back. This is a week to week award and there are plenty of games left to redeem himself, which he certainly will do, but Week 6's Douche is Santana Moss. What were Moss' stats for Week 6? How about zero catches, zero yards, and one lost fumble which the Packers' Charles Woodson scooped up and took in for the go ahead touchdown that put Green Bay up 17-14 for good. Let's also not forget Moss dropped two very catchable balls. The first would've given the Redskins a first down and kept a big drive alive. The second was a deep pass which was thrown very well by Jason Campbell and would've put the Redskins in scoring position. Those are two possible scores for the Skins and one score for the Pack. That was the difference in that game. Clearly Santana Moss has not fully recovered from his hamstring injury. As the mistakes piled up, he took himself out of the game. I actually screamed at the TV for him to do this because he was costing his team the game. But at the same time, he is their #1 receiving option and considered a team leader. Even when leaders make mistakes, they put their helmet back on and use it as motivation to do something positive and erase the mistake. Maybe Moss isn't ready for that leadership role and most likely isn't ready to play full time. Again, I hate to say it, but this week, Santana Moss... you're a douche. (Please forgive me.)
