Week 4 is in the books, outside of the MNF contest between the Pats and Bengals. Unless something crazy happens in that game, I'm fairly content on my selection of this week's Feminine Hygiene Product of the Week. For those of you paying attention, last week's winner once again stole my original idea for the Feminine Hygiene Product of the Week. NBC's Keith Olberman selected Chargers' GM, AJ Smith, to be his "Worst Person in the NFL." After watching a team that was 14-2 last year start the season 1-3, and have their fans scream "MAR-TY, MAR-TY," it was almost too obvious. Not only did they fire a really solid football coach, but they fired him late and watched their coordinators go to other teams and were forced to hire Norv Turner. Olberman obviously likes to take the easy way out when he writes his rants. I'm going to take the high road and not pick Olberman again, or his choice. I'm going to dig a little deeper and with a heavy heart select Winston Justice as my Week 4 Feminine Hygiene Product of the Week. Winston Justice plays Guard for the Philadelphia Eagles. Maybe I should adjust that statement. Winston Justice ATTEMPTS to play Guard for the Eagles. Justice had the assignment to guard Giants DE, Osi Umenyiora. The result was Umenyiora looking like vintage Lawrence Taylor. Not even. He looked like Lawrence Taylor in the original Tecmo Bowl. Whenever I played as the Giants in Tecmo Bowl, I could usually get LT double digit sacks everygame, including blocking field goals and extra points like it was going out of style. Andy Reid also should be questioned about not getting Justice any help after Umenyiora completely ate his lunch all game. Poor McNabb didn't have a chance. So why is this with a heavy heart. From a football standpoint, you have to give it to Justice. I mean he looked way out of his league against an average DE. From a fantasy standpoint, however, I was elated. You see I was up 12 points going into Sunday Night's game, and my opponent had McNabb and Kevin Curtis playing. It was looking pretty grim for me, especially after those same two players lit it up last week. Because of Justice's inept blocking, Donovan McNabb was sacked 5 times by Umenyiora alone and the Eagles were kept out of the endzone and out of any kind of offensive rhythm all night. Now I have Lawrence Maroney playing tomorrow and all my opponents players are done. Unless Maroney somehow loses 13 points, I can chalk up a victory this week. Winston Justice, although you did me a big favor by sucking this week, you are still a Feminine Hygiene Product.
