What About All These Small Injuries?

What About All These Small Injuries?

Yes, the injury bug is back and he has been biting every team. Two of my sleeper running backs this year are already hurt-- when I say sleeper, I talking about the late first or second round type. Travis Henry was going to run wild in Denver this year and still might but now, as a fantasy owner I am second guessing him after he sprained his right knee. Fantasy owners or potential owners need to look very seriously at Mike Bell to fill the void if Henry is sidelined. Thomas Jones is another running back that is a question mark. Smart fantasy owners that have Jones will also grab, Leon Washington. The Jets Thomas Jones and Broncos Travis Henry had slight injures and are expected to be at 100 percent by the end of the preseason.

To get an accurate analysis it is imperative that you seek out updates and information about all of your potential picks. If you have already picked an injured player, you need to be twice as proactive and getting information on their status before it is too late. You need to go back in history and look at things from that perspective as well before making a call on someone that is injured before the season has even started. Look for red flags, if they have been inured before and lost significant playing time in the past. I would be concerned and looking to steer away.
