A Touching Piece From Lions Camp 2007

Senior writer at CBS Sportsline.com, Clark Judge had a niece piece that I wanted to touch on. Ricky Sandoval who has been a long- time director of security for the Lions was diagnosed with cancer about a year and half ago and the doctors gave him just six months to live but Sandoval is having none of it. Judge stated in his article that Sandoval is the first one at practice every morning and that he is looking and sounding terrific. The cancer hasn't gone away but it has stopped growing and the optimistic Sandoval says he'll be right here win the Lions win their tenth game this season. We at Football.com wish Ricky the best in 2007 and hope to see him patrolling the Lions practices for years to come.
