Atlanta Gets Their First Win of the Season

Ordinarily when the Houston Texans come to town, it's not much of a media frenzy.  This year, however, featured the previous Falcons back up, Matt Schaub, coming back to Atlanta to get some revenge which made for a much more intersting sub plot.  THe Falcons' new quarterback, Joey Harrington, had different plans in stealing the spotlight from Schaub.  Harrington passed for 223 yards and two touchdowns in leading the Falcons to a 26-16 victory. 

Could it be Joey Harrington is getting the hang of Bobby Petrino's offense and showing his critics that he can be an effective NFL quarterback?  Well, maybe it's too early to say but he is playing extremely well and giving his team a chance to win. 

Now that Atlanta has gotten their first win, they have escaped being grouped in with the other winless NFL teams.  If they can somehow win their upcoming games against the Titans, Giants, and Saints, they can head into their Week 8 Bye with a winning record and a full head of steam.
