Bears release veterans, lock up Brown

Bears release veterans, lock up Brown
The Chicago Bears agreed to terms on a two-year extension with defensive end Alex Brown. The deal extends Brown’s contract through the 2011 season. The Bears also released veteran wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad and veteran offensive lineman Fred Miller. The team also declined to exercise the option on defensive tackle Darwin Walker today making him a free agent.
