Broncos, Dolphins & Giants make roster moves

The Denver Broncos have made the following roster transactions. Denver claimed linebacker Brandon Archer off waivers from Indianapolis and signed free-agent linebacker William Kershaw. The club also waived wide receiver Carlton Brewster and placed tackle Matt Lepsis on its reserve/retired list. On Monday, the team signed wide receiver Derrick Hamilton and released linebacker Warrick Holdman.

The Miami Dolphins terminated the contracts of wide receiver Marty Booker, quarterback Trent Green, tackle L.J. Shelton and defensive tackle Keith Traylor, the team announced. In addition, the team waived tackle Anthony Alabi, defensive tackle Anthony Bryant, tackle Marion Dukes, defensive tackle Marquay Love and tackle Joe Toledo.

The New York Giants have signed 41-year old punter Jeff Feagles to a two-year extension. Feagles is the NFL career leader for punts (1,585), yards (65,793) and punts inside the 20 (508). He has a career gross average of 41.5 yards and a net average of 35.7 yards. If the Giants had not offered him an extension, Feagles said he would have retired rather than play for another team.
