Hargrove Faces Four-Game Suspension After violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, Bills defensive end Anthony Hargrove will miss the first four contests of the 2007 regular season. This is troubling news for a guy who has already caused some trouble this preseason.
In the first week of August, Hargrove was arrested after mixing it up with police in front of a Rochester nightclub. According to police reports, Buffalo's reserve DE was bickering with a bouncer when a police office arrived and tried to get in between the two large men. Hargrove reportedly shoved the cop in the face and broke his glasses. The former third-round pick was charged with criminal mischief, harassment and resisting arrest. There were hundreds of other people outside the club who tangled with the cops and were also charged with multiple misdemeanors, including Anthony's brother, Terrence Hargrove.
After Hargrove's suspension became public, Dick Jauron said, "Releasing him is an option." If he wants to keep his spot on the roster, Hargrove should make every effort to stay out of trouble during the next few weeks
