Jamie Silva Draft Blog-Part 3

I just got back to Rhode Island a few days ago.  It is nice to be home and see the family for a week before I head to a new home town/state.  With the draft in two days, the excitement is building in Rhode Island.  There is only 1 current player in the NFL that played high school football in Rhode Island.  After this year we are hoping there will be 3, Will Blackmon (current player, Green Bay), and then the two prospects Matt Sherry and myself.  The media in RI has been calling, filming and airing things daily regarding the upcoming draft.  It is one of the most exciting times but also very nerve racking.  I have heard from about 15 teams thus far.  The teams usually just ask general questions and see how I am doing leading up to the draft.  I am really hoping that a team picks me.  My fingers will be crossed for the next few as I spend my draft weekend with my family.
