McNabb sits out with shoulder problem Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb sat out the team’s passing camp Tuesday due to shoulder tendinitis. A five-time Pro Bowler who has not played an injury-free season since 2004, McNabb may sit out the rest of the week’s organized team activities. “Donovan has slight tendinitis in his shoulder, very similar to what he had in 2004,” coach Andy Reid said. “We’re going to back off him just like we did in 2004, and he should be ready for training camp. There’s no surgery. There should be no repercussions from it. He’ll just get treatment for about two weeks here and then he’ll be ready to go.” Kevin Kolb, a 2007 second-round pick, ran the first-team in McNabb’s absence. McNabb missed two games last season with a sprained ankle and thumb. Before that, he missed the final eight games in 2006 with a torn ACL and the final seven contests in 2005 with sports hernia.
