Shark's Sunday MVPs Week 11 is almost in the books and what a Sunday it was with upsets and classic finishes across the board. NFL teams had their work cut out for them Sunday after the NCAA put on spectacular performances Thursday and Saturday but sure enough, the NFL is the one and only show and once again, it was simply fantastic! The New York Jets stepped up at home and beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in overtime behind a gutsy game from Thomas Jones. T.J. helped control the clock with 30 rushes and 117 yards, which kept the Steelers off Kellen Clemens just enough for the Jets to get the job done. The Houston Texans surprised the upstart New Orleans Saints 23-10 behind solid efforts from Matt Schaub and wide receiver Andre Johnson. Both players returned from injuries and posted sick numbers. Schaub went 21-of-33 for 293 yards and two touchdowns and connected with Johnson six times for 120 yards and a 73-yard touchdown. Here are the top six performances from Sunday's action and Shark's Sunday MVP. - Shark's Sunday MVP - Tom Brady, New England - The Brady Bunch destroyed a good Buffalo Bills team 55-10 Sunday night behind one of "Touchdown Tom's" best performances of the year. Brady went 31-of-39 for 373 with five touchdowns and no interceptions. Brady is on pace to destroy Peyton Manning's single season touchdown mark of 49.
- Terrell Owens, Dallas Cowboys - T.O. was a beast Sunday and was too much for Shawn Springs and the Washington Redskins to handle. Owens single-handily changed a close game with eight catches, 173 yards and four touchdowns. Owens now has 58 receptions for 1028 yards and 12 touchdowns.
- Randy Moss, New England - Moss was not to be out done by his respected receiving rival, Owens. Moss had a huge night against Buffalo with nine catches for 120 yards and a career-high four touchdowns. Brady found Moss early and often and the deadly duo quickly had the Bills reeling. Moss now has 65 receptions for 1044 yards and 16 touchdowns for the season.
- Chester Taylor, Minnesota Vikings - Taylor came through big time on Sunday filling in for super star rookie Adrian Peterson with one of his best performances of his career. The six-year veteran had 22 carries for 164 yards and three touchdowns plus 38 receiving yards that carried the Vikings past the Oakland Raiders 29-22.
- Antrel Rolle, Arizona Cardinals - Rolle quietly had one of the best games any Arizona Cardinal defensive back has ever had. Sunday, Rolle had three tackles and three massive interceptions. Two of the three interceptions Rolle returned for touchdowns and the third, would have been a touchdown as well if not for a questionable late roughing call on the quarterback. If Rolle does not pick Carson Palmer three times the Cards do not win the game, it's that simple. Welcome back Antrel!
- Patrick Kerney, Seattle Seahawks - Kerney had one of his best games of the season with five tackles, three sacks and a key forced fumble with 5:55 left in the game that sealed the deal for Seattle. The Seahawk's 30-23 victory was largely due to the dominating performance from Kerney.
Honorable Mention
• Brian Westbrook, Philadelphia Eagles - 32 carries for 148 yards in the 17-7 victory. • Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys - The "Rock Star" went 22-of-32 for 293 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. • Michael Strahan, New York Giants - Six tackles and three sacks, three days prior to 36th birthday - not too shabby for an old man… Happy birthday big Mike! • Brett Farve, Green Bay Packers - 22-of-30 for 218 yards and three touchdowns in the 31-17 victory over Carolina.
