The Minnesota Vikings’ #1 ranked rush defense was expected to be solid again this year, but it looks like they may have an excellent pass defense as well.  After watching the Vikings’ D make the Jets offense look like a practice squad, I think it’s a fair prediction to say the Vikings will have one of the league’s best defensive units.  Darren Sharper and Chad Greenway both intercepted Jets passes and returned them for touchdowns in the Vikings’ 37-20 pre-season victory.  Rookie running back, Adrian Peterson, showed his potential gaining 70 yards on eight carries and one touchdown.
