Warren is Traded and Ekuban is Done for 2007 Warren is Traded and Ekuban is Done for 2007 Saturday's loss to the Cowboys was a serve blow to the Denver Broncos' self asteem but also to their depth chart. Travis Henry and Mike Bell were sidelined with injuries. Henry sprained his right knee and Bell aggrevated an hip injury that he suffered earlier in the week. Both players will be ready to go for the regular season but it was a scare on Saturday with both of them going down. The real damage to the Broncos came when starting defensive end, Ebenezer Ekuban went down with a torn Achilles tendon. The crafty veteran will be done for the year and place on the injured reserve list. Head coach Mike Shanahan said, ""It's a shame to loose Ebenezer for the year. He's been a real leader for us." Denver needs someone to step up in the front-four and become the leader now that Ekuban is out. The Broncos also delt Gerrard Warren to the Baltimore Ravens. Warren was on his way out in Denver for some time and really never managed to fit into the Jim Bates defensive system. The Broncos received an undisclosed draft pick in the 2008 NFL Draft for the interior defensive lineman. Warren will look to add some depth to the Ravens defense and should be a positive force in the middle for Baltimore.
