Football Playbook

Do you want to learn how to play football? Football.com has developed this playbook through the input of successful coaches from youth football on up to the NFL level. It includes basic and complex offensive run and pass plays, and several defensive schemes. This playbook uses a methodical number play name system that allows plays to be run in different formations. Since many teams use different terminology and numbering systems, our playbook includes a diagram of hole assignments, passing routes and an explanation of play names. Plays are categorized by play type and include illustrations of standard plays in different formations.
