Alan Faneca - Offensive Lineman
Alan Faneca - Offensive Lineman Alan Faneca, Pittsburgh's first round pick in the 1998 NFL Draft has developed into one of the most dominant offensive linemen in the NFL. It's not uncommon to see Fancea blow up multiple defenders during the same play. With so many chump O-linemen getting fat free agent contracts this past offseason, Faneca is ready to cash in on his brilliant production. Unfortunately for Faneca, DE Aaron Smith (four-year contract extension worth $25 million), S Troy Polamalu (four-year extension for a team-record $30 million-plus) and QB Big Ben (who has yet to sign an extension) were viewed as bigger priorities than locking up an aging, albeit elite, guard. Barring some crazy, unforeseen cap-saving maneuver, this year will be Faneca's final season in black and gold.
